The Director of Fintech will lead and oversee the company’s efforts to utilize technology to drive the development and implementation of financial technology solutions aimed at enhancing financial processes, customer transactions, and overall business efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the company’s financial technology strategy in alignment with business growth, digital transformation, and customer experience objectives.
- Leading the design and implementation of scalable fintech solutions to support high-volume transactions across various stakeholders.
- Innovating payment systems, digital wallets, refunds, settlements, and reconciliation processes to ensure speed, accuracy, and reliability.
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, and Finance teams to integrate fintech solutions into the company’s platform and workflows.
- Ensuring compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements and managing fintech-related risks and controls.
- Overseeing fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and cybersecurity measures concerning financial systems and digital payments.
- Managing the fintech budget to ensure cost efficiency, ROI optimization, and sustainable investment in new technologies and partnerships.
- Analyzing financial and transaction data to identify trends and revenue opportunities.
- Preparing executive-level financial technology reports and dashboards to provide insights on transaction performance and innovation impact.
- Leading and developing a high-performing fintech team, fostering a culture of ownership and innovation.
- Staying ahead of emerging fintech trends and assessing their relevance to the company’s ecosystem.
- Building and managing strategic relationships with banks, payment providers, fintech startups, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- 10 - 12 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, fintech, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
