Director of Infrastructure & Networks

We are seeking a transformational leader and technical powerhouse to serve as our Director of Infrastructure and Networks. In this impactful role, you will architect and drive the strategic vision, operational excellence, and innovation agenda for our global infrastructure ecosystem across a multi-cloud environment, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and ideally Oracle OCI.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining and driving a modern infrastructure and network strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Leading planning, development, and optimization of our infrastructure and network landscape.
• Driving significant programs such as network and cloud transformations, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and implement infrastructure and network strategies to meet business objectives.
2. Enterprise Infrastructure Management: Architect and oversee a secure and scalable hybrid cloud environment.
3. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design and execute disaster recovery strategies to ensure continuity.
4. Operational Excellence: Establish KPIs and SLAs, leading performance engineering initiatives to improve responsiveness.
5. Vendor and Budget Management: Manage technology vendor relationships and oversee procurement and budget control.
6. People Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and inspire a high-performing infrastructure and networks team.
7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance capabilities within the infrastructure landscape.

Technical Expertise:

• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure and network support, including 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience with enterprise-level networking and cloud technologies.
• Strong technical background in observability tools like Datadog and various platforms such as Oracle, SAP, and Salesforce.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• ITIL certification or equivalent knowledge of service management best practices preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume business setting, particularly in the retail sector is an advantage.
