Position

The Director of Products & Strategic Transformation will lead the strategic evolution of the company Pay’s product ecosystem, ensuring the company anticipates market trends, customer needs, competitive disruption, and emerging financial services opportunities. The role will own the end-to-end product strategy, innovation roadmap, and implementation governance across existing and future product lines including remittance, cards, lending, investments, insurance, SME/SOHO services, embedded finance, and ecosystem propositions. This leader will act as the critical bridge between business strategy and technology execution, ensuring all product initiatives deliver measurable customer value, commercial impact, scalability, and return on investment aligned with the strategic vision of CEO.

Key Accountabilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision

    • Define and own the long-term product strategy and roadmap for the company Pay.
    • Anticipate market evolution, customer demand shifts, fintech trends, and competitive threats.
    • Identify new product opportunities and innovation areas aligned with the company Pay’s strategic ambitions.
    • Prioritize initiatives based on strategic value, customer impact, scalability, and financial return.
  • Product Innovation & Roadmap Execution

    • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of product ideation, design, implementation, launch, and optimization.
    • Ensure timely and effective execution of product roadmap initiatives.
    • Drive expansion into lending, investments (including tokenized and digital assets), savings, insurance, SME/SOHO financial solutions, embedded finance, and value-added digital services.
    • Define product business cases, ROI models, and success metrics.
  • Technology & Delivery Alignment

    • Work in strict partnership with Technology and Architecture teams to ensure execution excellence.
    • Ensure product developments are commercially justified and aligned with business priorities.
    • Balance innovation ambitions with operational scalability and delivery feasibility.
    • Drive agile product governance and prioritization frameworks.
    • Ensure technology investments generate measurable business outcomes.
  • Customer Experience & Market Intelligence

    • Lead customer-centric product design and journey optimization.
    • Monitor customer behaviors, market trends, fintech innovation, and regulatory developments.
    • Translate data insights into actionable product enhancements.
    • Benchmark the company Pay against regional and global fintech leaders.
  • Cross-Functional Strategic Leadership

    • Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Technology teams.
    • Support the CEO and Executive Committee in shaping long-term growth strategy.
    • Build strong product management disciplines and innovation culture across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in IT or any relevant field.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience

  • 10–15+ years of experience in product leadership within fintech, digital banking, payments, or technology-driven financial services.
  • Proven track record launching and scaling digital financial products.
  • Strong experience managing product roadmaps in fast-growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, customer journeys, and fintech economics.
  • GCC/UAE experience strongly preferred.
