We are seeking a high-performance Director of Engineering to lead a group of Engineering managers at Mozn. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading, mentoring, and managing a group of Engineering managers to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Providing guidance, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development for managers.
- Overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of our SaaS product, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to create engineering objectives that align with business goals.
- Driving scalable architecture and design solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability of the SaaS product.
- Ensuring adherence to best practices for coding, security, testing, and performance optimization.
- Staying updated with domain trends and technologies, driving innovation in the product's tech stack.
- Developing and implementing policies, standards, and procedures for engineering and technical work streams.
Our ideal candidate has:
- A BS/MS from a top school in Computer Science or a related field.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in B2B SaaS software.
- Previous experience collaborating with Data Science teams is preferred.
- A proven track record of managing and growing other leaders within engineering teams.
- Experience managing an organizational unit comprising several independent engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven expertise in architecting and managing large-scale, complex distributed software systems.
