Job Overview:
The Director of Solutions Engineers is a technical sales leadership role responsible for leading our Solutions Engineers in both technical and business essential engagements with our customers and partners in the META region. The Solutions Engineering team supports our sales and technology teams in achieving sales goals (quota) by providing technical capabilities and business insights to effectively address customers’ technical challenges and priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with EMEA sales leadership to develop and execute sales strategies, technology positioning, and execution priorities.
- Serve as a thought leader, mentor, and influencer in the Solution Engineering community.
- Hire, onboard, develop, and retain a strong, diverse, and inclusive team.
- Empower the team to think beyond routine tasks and guide them in achieving their goals.
- Partner with regional sales leaders to identify new sales strategies and market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strategic business engagement plans with sales VPs and internal product teams.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding presentation skills with an ability to articulate complex technologies.
- Experience in project management and negotiation skills is a plus.
- Ideally, 10-15 years of relevant industry experience, with familiarity with the F5 product suite being a significant advantage.
- BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience.
