Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the SMO, including governance models, planning processes, OKR structures, KPI reporting, and executive dashboards
- Coordinate quarterly business reviews and strategic planning cycles
- Track execution of company-wide strategic initiatives and ensure accountability across departments
- Develop reporting frameworks for executive leadership and board visibility
- Support the development and execution of corporate strategy across existing and future markets
- Build market assessment and expansion frameworks for international growth opportunities
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and monitor delivery against targets
- Partner with the investments team on evaluating acquisitions, partnerships, and venture opportunities
- Support commercial and strategic due diligence processes
- Assist with integration planning and post-deal execution where required
- Prepare board materials, strategic presentations, and investor-facing narratives
- Support communication with institutional shareholders and strategic stakeholders
- Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
- Lead and develop members of the strategy team
- Strengthen internal capabilities across strategic planning, execution management, and analytical problem-solving
- Foster a high-performance and ownership-driven culture within the function
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, transformation, or a related field
- Experience building or leading a Strategy Management Office or similar strategic execution function
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from strategy through implementation and measurable business outcomes
- Background within high-growth, scale-up, PE-backed, VC-backed, or pre-IPO environments
- Exposure to M&A, partnerships, investment evaluation, or market expansion initiatives
- Experience preparing and presenting materials for senior executives or boards
- Fluent in both Arabic and English
Preferred Background
- Experience in live events, entertainment, sports, marketplaces, or consumer technology
- Familiarity with the Saudi and broader MENA business landscape
- Exposure to international expansion across multiple markets
