The company is seeking a Director of Professional Services for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, reporting to the Global Vice President of Professional Services. This role involves overseeing project lifecycle, managing resources and budgets, improving service strategies, and collaborating with other departments to align services with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team and Project Management: Lead a professional services team, manage project execution from initiation to completion, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, build and maintain strong relationships, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning and Development: Develop and implement service strategies, improve operational processes, and align services with client needs and market trends.
- Resource and Budget Management: Oversee budgets, allocate resources effectively, and collaborate with other departments to meet demand.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with regional managers, practice leaders, sales, product, marketing, and finance teams to ensure the professional services department supports the company's overall strategy.
What You'll Need:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, management, or engineering is typically required; advanced degrees preferred but not required.
- Experience: A minimum of 15+ years in professional services, consulting, and/or a similar leadership role; experience in software deployment within the oil and gas or chemicals space is required.
- Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong organizational and project management skills.
- Travel Requirement: Up to 30% travel within the region to support business functions and perform client visits.
