Key responsibilities include:
- Research Technology Strategy: Be the primary IT partner to faculty and research centers, translating research needs into effective technology solutions.
- Research Computing Infrastructure: Oversee the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of research computing environments and specialized research systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and optimized.
- AI Enablement Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the company's IT’s AI enablement and support strategy, guiding adoption across various domains.
- AI Literacy & Workforce Enablement: Partner with Executive Education and Human Resources to design AI education and training programs to promote AI literacy and applied skills.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Preferred Education: Doctoral degree or advanced research experience in a related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in research technology, research computing, or AI-related domains.
- 5+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in research settings.
