Director - Risk & Compliance

The Director – Risk and Compliance is responsible for overseeing and controlling the risk and compliance issues in all aspects of the operations with a view to mitigate the operational and regulatory compliance-related matters of the country of operations. The role holder is also responsible for identifying and resolving control weaknesses or other related risk and compliance cases.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Oversee the development of short and long-term planning, deployment of resources, budgeting, and expense control for the Risk and Compliance Department in the assigned country.
• Direct independent, cost-effective, and efficient risk management services to all the Countries across the company Retail.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the company's internal control framework by addressing risks and accomplishing the company’s goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance Risk Management or equivalent.
• 10+ years' experience in a related role, 5+ years in retail.
• Risk and Compliance Certification, Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are preferred.
