Position

The company is seeking an experienced sales and payments leader to join the CEMEA Acceptance Solutions team as Director, Sales, Acceptance Solutions for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman (KBO) Cluster. This is a high-impact role focused on expanding the adoption of Acceptance Solutions and Value Added Services across some of the region’s most dynamic payments markets. The role will work with seller-focused clients, including acquirers, enterprise merchants, payment facilitators, marketplaces, and software providers that use, or intend to use, solutions within their own platforms, products, and services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping market strategy, deepening strategic client relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth across the cluster. Working closely with Country Managers and regional teams, this leader will identify priority opportunities, build strong sales plans, and connect client needs with capabilities across multiple product domains.

This role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the Acceptance Solutions sales strategy across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, identifying priority clients, market opportunities, and solution areas.
  • Build and deepen relationships with seller-focused clients, including acquirers, enterprise merchants, payment facilitators, marketplaces, software providers, and payment technology partners.
  • Drive revenue growth, client retention, renewals, and expansion across the existing client base, while developing new opportunities across direct and referral channels.
  • Partner closely with Country Managers, client relationship teams, Product, Sales Engineering, Finance, Risk, Legal, Pricing, Business Planning, Go-to-Market, Sales Enablement, and Sales Operations teams to deliver client-centric solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong regional pipeline, supporting annual and three-year revenue planning, market-level account plans, performance tracking, and clear reporting against business objectives.
  • Identify local client needs, seller use cases, and market requirements to inform product roadmaps, solution development, and go-to-market priorities.
  • Apply sales methodology by understanding how clients define success and aligning products and services to their commercial and operational goals.
  • Continuously review the market landscape and proactively recommend new approaches to grow the Acceptance Solutions business across the cluster.

This is a hybrid position. Employees are expected to work from the office at least three days per week. Specific expectations will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 6 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in enterprise sales, solution sales, strategic account management, or business development, within the payments industry.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, with exposure to acceptance, acquiring, merchant services, digital commerce, payment facilitators, marketplaces, software providers, or payment technology platforms.
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value client relationships, including senior stakeholder engagement, multi-party sales cycles, commercial negotiations, renewals, and account growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market plans, account strategies, sales programs, and client engagement plans across multiple markets or client segments.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to assess opportunities, shape business cases, manage performance insights, and connect client needs to measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working across matrixed teams, including product, sales engineering, finance, risk, legal, pricing, go-to-market, and regional leadership, to move complex opportunities from strategy to execution.
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple strategic opportunities, client priorities, and internal dependencies in a fast-moving environment.
