The Director, SAP Sales and Technical Solutioning (Subject Matter Expert) is a highly experienced and strategic leader responsible for designing robust, scalable, and innovative SAP solutions that align with the organization's business strategy and enterprise architecture principles. This role entails deep dives into complex business requirements, translating them into comprehensive technical designs, and providing architectural oversight throughout the solution lifecycle. The Principal Solution Architect acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, project teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring the successful adoption of SAP technologies to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the long-term SAP solution roadmap, aligning it with overall enterprise architecture and business objectives. Provide strategic thought leadership on leveraging SAP technologies to achieve business outcomes.

  • Architecture Design & Governance: Lead the end-to-end architectural design for complex SAP implementations and establish best practices for SAP solution development.

  • Expert Advisory & Consulting: Act as the primary SAP subject matter expert and trusted advisor to C-level executives and business leaders.

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to project teams and mentor junior architects to ensure adherence to architectural best practices.

  • Risk Management & Quality Assurance: Identify and mitigate architectural risks while ensuring solutions meet non-functional requirements.

  • Strategic Business Development: Identify new market opportunities and develop compelling value propositions for SAP solutions.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Design and implement strategies for new and existing SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Sales Enablement & Support: Support sales teams in understanding and positioning SAP offerings and assist in complex deal cycles.

Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Experience:

  • 18+ years of extensive experience in SAP implementations, with a focus on solution architecture and design.
  • 10+ years in a lead or principal architect role across multiple SAP implementations, particularly with large-scale S/4HANA transformations.
  • Proven track record of engaging and influencing C-level executives and key stakeholders.

Language Requirements: Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
