Director Scrum Master

About the Job:
The purpose of this role is to drive and oversee the delivery of assigned projects to ensure that objectives are clearly defined and achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Create and lead the project team to deliver agreed outputs/outcomes within scope, time, cost, and quality constraints. Promote ethical and socially responsible actions in dealings across project stakeholders and teams.

• Project Team Management: Manage the project team on a day-to-day basis, appropriate to context and project stage. Define, agree, and delegate roles and responsibilities; develop capabilities and foster innovation; empower and inspire others to deliver successful projects.

• Project Business Case and Benefits Management: Support project sponsors in preparing, gaining approval for, and updating business cases that justify projects in terms of benefits, costs, and risks. Track and report forecasts against these cases to ensure realization of benefits.

• Project Budget and Cost Management: Manage project budgets, control forecasts, changes, and actual costs against budgets.

• Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance and decision-making for project delivery; define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities in line with organizational practices.

• Project Plans and Controls: Design and document fundamental components of projects (scope, schedule, resources, budgets, risks, and quality requirements). Implement protocols for managing project scope changes and updates.

• Scheduling and Dependency Management: Develop and maintain project schedules considering dependencies and resource constraints to enable efficient realization of project outputs. Manage interdependencies and resolve issues between project elements.

• Project Resource Management: Develop and implement resource allocation plans for projects, accounting for availabilities and scheduling variances.

• Stakeholder and Communications Management: Identify and manage project stakeholder relationships, ensuring continual alignment with program and organizational communications. Actively manage internal and external relationships.

• Project Risks and Issues Management: Identify and monitor project risks and issues, develop mitigating actions, and escalate as appropriate.
