About The Role:
Are you passionate about aviation security and committed to creating robust security protocols and a strong safety culture throughout our organization? In this role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive security protocols that ensure the safety of our passengers, staff, and operations.
Your responsibilities will involve leading efforts to protect the airline from a wide range of potential threats, ensuring that all security measures, including airport access control, baggage screening, and in-flight procedures, remain effective, up-to-date, and compliant with international and regional safety and security standards, including those set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
You will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in security processes, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring all employees are thoroughly trained on security protocols and emergency response procedures. Collaborating closely with airport authorities, law enforcement, customs, and other airlines will be vital to maintaining a cohesive and comprehensive security network.
About You:
Degree qualified, you will have at least 10 years of experience in airline or airport security operations management. Extensive knowledge of airport security regulations and compliance standards, including ICAO, and proven experience in crisis management are essential. A deep understanding of the security needs of airline operations is crucial for success in this role, as well as the ability to lead security teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
