As a Solution Architect, you will be the primary partner to the frontline team during the solutioning process, ensuring that the solutions have maximum impact for clients. Your role is critical in driving relevancy and differentiation across segments, which fosters better relationships, increases market share, and drives revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the MA capabilities expert for the assigned segment.
- Understand the value chain of assigned segments to identify trends, needs, and opportunities for Mastercard.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Mastercard Products, Services, and corporate strategy.
- Collaborate with frontline teams to identify customer needs and opportunities through account planning; recommend needs-based solutions in coordination with Products, Services, and Marketing.
- Bridge the gap between Frontline sales teams and product/solution expertise.
- Lead complex value proposition and solution development and assist in driving sales from pitch to closure.
- Work with the CSCL to select the right “squad” from a solutioning perspective.
- Partner with Account Managers and Business Developers to develop and quantify value propositions for integrated, customized solutions across products/services.
- Create business requirements documents in collaboration with product specialists and technical architects.
- Proactively build solutions for known market needs.
- Share best practices within the Solution Architect community.
- Provide input to product/solution groups and segment leads to enhance product/solution and segment strategy.

- Extensive experience and understanding of product development, product management, consumer experience, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Mastercard products and services.
- Knowledge of technical basics, APIs, and process flows.
- Ability to architect integrated solutions by combining Mastercard’s products and services.
- Highly collaborative, strong communicator with a proven ability to develop and deliver products and solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Proven ability to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, deriving meaningful implications from it.
