As a key partner for frontline teams during the solutioning process, the Director, Solution Architect maximizes the impact of solutions for clients. This role involves curating solutions by aggregating products for segments, assisting Account Managers and Directors in crafting comprehensive, complex, and cohesive multi-product and multi-platform solutions. The Director's efforts are vital in ensuring relevancy and differentiation across all segments, ultimately enhancing relationships, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Become an expert on Mastercard capabilities for the assigned segment while identifying trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with frontline teams to uncover customer needs and recommend needs-based solutions in partnership with Products, Services, and Marketing.
- Lead the development of complex value propositions and solution designs, driving sales from pitch to closure.
- Innovate and proactively build market-specific solutions using Mastercard's extensive product toolbox to meet known market demands.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the Solution Architect community to enhance overall product and solution strategies.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in product development, product management, consumer experience, and problem-solving.
- Solid understanding of Mastercard products and services, including technical concepts such as APIs and process flows.
- Ability to analyze business and market contexts to create integrated and innovative solutions based on customer needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a focus on delivering tailored solutions.
- Proficient in engaging and rallying support from internal stakeholders to secure organizational backing for proposed solutions.
