Director – Technical Services

The Director – Technical Services will lead the technical services discipline for the company's Commercial Office Development portfolio, a core component of the wider giga-project masterplan. The role is accountable for translating the company's design vision into deliverable, investment-grade office assets — from concept and masterplan integration through to design development, authority approvals, and construction-ready documentation — while managing a network of international architecture and multidiscipline engineering consultants.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the technical services functional team consisting of subject matter experts for civil and structural engineering, MEP & facades.
• Supporting the design management function with specialist input from technical services to enable design competitions, consultant selection, and novation of architectural firms & lead design consultants for individual office assets and mixed-use commercial parcels.
• Ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Code, Mostadam/LEED sustainability targets, civil defense requirements, the company's design guidelines & COBU design, technical, smart, and sustainability guidelines.

Candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a relevant field of study.
• 12–18+ years of design management experience, including senior design leadership on large-scale commercial office or mixed-use developments.
• A track record of delivering BCO Grade A / investment-grade office towers or business park products from concept through to handover.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive presentation skills, with the ability to operate comfortably in a fast-paced, giga-project delivery environment.
• Strong leadership skills to inspire large, diverse teams and deliver results.
