Director/Cyber Security Strategy & Planning

As a Director of Cyber Security Strategy & Planning, you will lead the development, planning, and execution of the cyber security strategy. Your role will include driving the security vision, strategy, and principles while monitoring the performance of cyber security initiatives. You will oversee the implementation of governance frameworks such as ISO 2700X, ITIL, COBIT/Risk IT, and NIST, ensuring the teams remain resilient and prepared for cyber incidents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evaluating business demands for security needs from within the Cyber Security team and other IT divisions.
• Guiding the development of security best practices and governance frameworks.
• Managing and recommending the adoption of governance and compliance frameworks.
• Establishing security policies compliant with industry standards and leading risk management efforts.
• Overseeing the adoption of Security Enterprise Architecture based on TOGAF and other guidelines.
• Aligning network security KPIs with standards and conducting regular reporting on cyber security program statuses.
• Managing cyber security budgets and monitoring variances.
• Enhancing awareness of security issues throughout the organization and providing guidance and coaching to team members.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Familiarity with cyber security standards and certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CRISC is highly advantageous.
