Position

The Director of Technology Performance Excellence is responsible for the initiation, planning, and monitoring of end-to-end performance management for all Programs, Projects, and Operational KPIs across all Technology Divisions. This role aligns with the Corporate Governance and Business Performance Team and focuses on the continuous improvement of Technology KPIs to achieve top performance levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee annual and monthly performance planning per function and recommend new processes in compliance with the performance management framework.
  • Use the performance management process to support team development and improvement.
  • Define, monitor, and report on various KPIs (Programs, Projects, Operational, Strategic, Corporate, and Board).
  • Appraise the performance of the entire Technology Department and ensure effective communication.
  • Finalize performance contracts between the CTIO and Heads of Sections.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports for each Technology Division, covering critical Operational KPIs.
  • Conduct monthly performance review meetings with the CTIO and division heads to discuss achievements and deviations.
  • Manage the implementation of the Performance Management and Improvement System, including Change Management for continuous improvement.
  • Design and research appropriate training for technology-wide performance and quality improvement.
  • Interface with HR and the Corporate Governance Performance Team to develop performance measures and improvements.
  • Ensure the implementation of a Digital & Automated Performance Monitoring Platform.
  • Conduct regular meetings to document milestones, successes, and challenges.
  • Prepare and maintain operational plans.
  • Analyze operational performance trends to identify areas for improvement and development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean.

Qualifications:

  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 10+ years in the Telecommunications Industry, with a minimum of 5 years in management and 5 years in managing performance of programs/projects.
