Key Accountabilities Include:

Strategic

  • Develop a solid and growing understanding of the company's distribution model — including how channel economics, partner relationships, and platform connectivity interact — applying this knowledge to ensure that day-to-day operational outputs are accurate, contextually informed, and commercially relevant.
  • Identify and escalate recurring operational issues, data discrepancies, or process inefficiencies encountered in the course of assigned work — providing the supervising Specialist or Manager with clear, factual observations and relevant supporting detail.

Operational

  • Execute clearly defined distribution workstream tasks accurately and within agreed timelines — including but not limited to data entry and validation, partner onboarding documentation, NDC implementation tracking, connectivity monitoring, channel cost recording, report preparation, and process coordination across commercial and technical domains.
  • Support the operational management of distribution partner interactions — preparing correspondence, maintaining partner records, coordinating meeting logistics, tracking action items, and following up with partners and internal teams to ensure commitments are progressed on schedule.
  • Monitor the operational performance of distribution platform integrations on a day-to-day basis — including connectivity status across GDS, NDC, aggregator, and direct connect channels — logging incidents, escalating degradations, and supporting the Specialist or Manager in coordinating resolution with IT and external providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across all assigned distribution workstreams — including partner databases, NDC pipeline trackers, integration logs, cost of sale data, and compliance documentation — ensuring information is correctly formatted and accessible to the broader distribution team.
  • Support audit, compliance, and governance activities within the distribution function — logging open findings, tracking remediation progress, preparing status summaries, and escalating overdue items to the supervising Specialist or Manager.
  • Liaise with operational counterparts in IT, Finance, Commercial teams, and external distribution partners to gather data, clarify requirements, and follow up on outstanding actions — escalating unresolved issues promptly to the supervising Specialist or Manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of distribution reports, dashboards, and management presentations — collating data from relevant systems, checking for accuracy and completeness, and formatting outputs to the standard required for internal review.
  • Support the testing and validation of distribution platform changes — including NDC capability updates, GDS configuration changes, and aggregator integration deployments — carrying out assigned test cases, logging results, and reporting outcomes to the supervising Specialist or Manager.
