The primary goal is to protect the organization from penalties imposed by various immigration authorities and to avoid inconveniences for guests. This role demands a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service, demonstrating safe and professional guest handling, and maintaining operational excellence during both regular and irregular operations, all while adhering to UAE laws, regulations, and company procedures with an emphasis on safety, security, and guest convenience.

Accountabilities

  • Assess and verify travel documents of guests traveling on all flights covered under MOU & High-risk categories to ensure regulatory compliance and identify fraudulent documents, thereby detecting potential illegal immigrants and facilitators.
  • Identify trends related to fraudulent activities and practices concerning travel documents.
  • Prepare reports containing facts and justifications to facilitate immigration appeals aimed at revoking penalties issued to the company.
  • Assist the operations team and local authorities in managing cases of inadmissible guests, taking into account the sensitivity of the case and various regulatory requirements.
  • Brief the operations team on incidents and breaches related to the document verification of guests.
  • Prepare offloading reports for guests who are offloaded from flights and submit these reports to local authorities.

Education & Experience

  • Secondary level education with additional qualifications related to Document Verification or Aviation Security.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Document Verification and Immigration Compliance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in airport operations at a major international airport.
