Responsibilities
- Safely transport staff, supplies, equipment, and other items as required by the restaurant.
- Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
- Assist with general engineering maintenance tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
- Support the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of restaurant facilities and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, and repair requirements to the engineering or maintenance team.
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities to help ensure the smooth operation of restaurant facilities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all traffic regulations, company policies, and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Driver with hands-on engineering maintenance experience.
- Valid UAE driving license, as required for the position.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations in the UAE.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or general facilities maintenance.
- Experience assisting with the maintenance of restaurant facilities, kitchen equipment, or commercial properties is an advantage.
- Ability to use basic maintenance tools and perform minor repairs.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of handling driving duties and maintenance-related tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with the restaurant and maintenance teams.
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training in engineering maintenance is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field is preferred.
- Experience in purchasing spare parts and materials for the Engineering/Maintenance Team is beneficial.
