About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and structured Drone Show Pilot to join our UAE-based flight operations team, delivering shows across the Middle East and European Union, as well as occasionally in other parts of the world. This hands-on role is at the heart of every show, where you will prepare, set up, and fly our drone fleets. Working alongside experienced crews, you will adhere to the procedures that ensure every performance is safe and on time.
Drone shows typically occur during evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, often requiring frequent travel with short notice. We are looking for someone who possesses a passion for flying, takes pride in their work, and enjoys the energy of live events in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and fly drone shows, which includes site preparation, drone layout, rehearsals, and live performances.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and safety protocols without shortcuts.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, routine maintenance, battery management, and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records, including flight logs, maintenance records, and show reports.
- Assist the operations team with acquiring local flight permits and adhering to site requirements in each country.
- Prepare, pack, ship, and unpack equipment, and assist with warehouse and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate closely with international crews, clients, and event partners on-site.
- Provide feedback from the field to contribute to the improvement of procedures and equipment.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Proven hands-on experience flying drones, specifically in FPV and/or multi-drone (swarm) operations.
- A reliable, structured, and methodical working style, strictly following checklists and procedures.
- Solid understanding of flight safety regulations and the basic aviation rules applicable to drone operations.
- Technical aptitude for troubleshooting hardware, batteries, radio links, and software.
- Willingness to travel frequently for several days or weeks at a time, often on short notice.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Valid passport and ability to travel easily to destinations across the EU, Latin America, Africa, and beyond.
- Comfort with outdoor work, handling physical setup tasks, and performing under varied weather conditions.
- Good communication skills in English.
Highly Desirable
- Experience operating drone light shows.
- A recognized drone pilot certification (e.g., UAE GCAA, EASA, or FAA Part 107).
- Background in aviation, electronics, engineering, or live event production.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic, German, Spanish, Italian, or French.
- A valid driving license.
