About the Role
In this position, you will assist in monitoring and tracking employee relations issues, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up. You will support management and the leadership team in addressing and resolving Human Resources (HR) matters while overseeing the hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with local, state, federal laws, as well as company policies and standards.
Your role involves responding to inquiries from employees and management regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines, as well as disseminating pertinent information related to employer-employee relations and personnel policies. You will be responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate employee records, managing annual employee surveys, and handling communication effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring and tracking employee relations issues including resolution and follow-up.
  • Support management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and safety policies and procedures; report accidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and uphold professional communication standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and support collaborative goal achievement.
  • Use computers and point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
  • Perform various physical tasks as needed, lifting objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related role.
  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory position.
  • License or Certification: Not required.
