The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the HR function within the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining organization, ensuring efficient office operations, and providing support to both employees and management regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain filing systems for employee records.
  • Create and type office correspondence using a computer.
  • Distribute and route mail efficiently.
  • Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms.
  • Answer phone calls and record messages appropriately.
  • Create new employee personnel files and manage their confidentiality and security.
  • Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and maintain a clean, accessible application space.
  • Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management relating to company and HR programs.
  • Inform HR management of employee relations issues within the division.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring professionalism in uniform and personal appearance.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Utilize clear and professional language while speaking with others and preparing written documents accurately.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting teamwork to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure accuracy in maintaining work-related information using computers or point of sale systems.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
