Développeur Data Python / Airflow (H/F)

About the Role
We are seeking a Data Developer proficient in Python and Apache Airflow to work on a client project in the banking sector located in Monaco, within a demanding, structured, and data-focused environment. You will become part of a team responsible for managing, optimizing, and evolving data flows, with the aim of ensuring reliable processing, enhancing the performance of the Data Warehouse, and improving data quality used across various business functions.

In this context, you will work on topics related to data development in Python, orchestrating processes with Apache Airflow, optimizing SQL and Data Warehouse activities, as well as implementing Data Quality measures. You will operate in a banking environment that requires rigor, reliability, traceability, and adherence to data security and quality standards.

Your Responsibilities
As a Data Developer, you will play a key role in evolving and securing the Data platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining data pipelines in Python
• Designing, automating, and optimizing processing workflows using Apache Airflow
• Developing and optimizing complex SQL queries to enhance Data Warehouse performance
• Participating in the design, evolution, and optimization of Data Warehouse processes
• Implementing and maintaining Data Quality controls to ensure the reliability, consistency, and integrity of the data
• Identifying and analyzing data anomalies or discrepancies and contributing to their resolution
• Automating data quality monitoring and controls
• Contributing to the improvement of performance and robustness of existing data flows
• Collaborating with Data, IT, and business teams to understand needs and ensure effective data usage
• Documenting processes, flows, and control rules implemented

Your Profile
We are looking for a Data Developer who is rigorous, autonomous, and quality-oriented, possessing strong proficiency in Python and SQL, and eager to work in a demanding Data environment. You should be comfortable in settings where data reliability, processing performance, and pipeline robustness are critical concerns.

Experience
A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a Data / Data Engineering position with Airflow, ideally in a banking, finance, or similar high-quality and data-reliability requirement environment.

Technical Skills

• Python – development of scripts and data processing
• Apache Airflow – creation, orchestration, and supervision of DAGs
• SQL – complex queries, optimization, and performance analysis
• Data Warehouse – understanding of architectures and optimization challenges
• Data Quality – establishment of controls, quality rules, and anomaly tracking
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data pipeline issues
• Experience with Git or version control tools
• Familiarity with a Linux environment is a plus
• Experience in the banking or financial sector is appreciated
