E-commerce Integration Engineer & Pre-Sales Support

As an E-commerce Integration Engineer & Pre-Sales Support at the company, you will provide technical, functional, and product integration support to merchant partners, ensuring their checkout pages, mobile apps, IVR, and CRM systems are integrated with payment gateways and other web/mobile-based acquiring products seamlessly and without errors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Offering technical pre-sales support by attending meetings with product and sales teams, giving presentations to prospective and existing clients, and providing product demonstrations.
• Conducting training sessions for colleagues and clients on the use of the bank’s payment gateway products.
• Assisting the sales team with proposal support to accurately assess feasibility, costs, and timelines for customer proposals.
• Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements from customers.
• Writing small internal applications for proof-of-concept ideas to test the company’s e-commerce products and to troubleshoot client issues.
• Coordinating with payment gateway providers to resolve intervention issues.
• Ensuring compliance mandate monitoring and implementation.
• Handling merchant onboarding on various payment gateways and digital payment solutions like Skiply and Simplify.
• Assisting the Service Delivery Manager with BAU activities.

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences in a sales-oriented manner.
• Knowledge of basic programming in commonly used scripting languages such as JSP, PHP, CGI, XML, .NET, etc.
• Ability to work independently with customers via phone, email, and on-site with minimal supervision.
• In-depth technical and functional knowledge of various payment gateway products, including MiGS, MPGS, CyberSource, Simplify, EPG, etc.
• Experience in giving presentations to customers within a sales environment.
• Experience working alongside sales and product teams to secure new business opportunities.
• Relevant experience in the payments industry, preferably in e-commerce, particularly in the Middle East region.
• Language Requirement: Arabic language skills (preferred but not mandatory).
