This is an opportunity to join the Measurement Solutions and Systems business unit where our technologies and solutions deliver superior Flow Measurement and Analytical expertise while providing customers with the confidence and insight needed to continuously improve safety and efficiency in critical process applications.
This position is based in the company Dubai, UAE, as part of the MSS Middle East & Africa organization.
You will lead Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering activities for assigned projects within Measurement Solutions Systems, supporting the delivery of state-of-the-art Metering and Analytical Packages across the Middle East and Africa region. The role requires close collaboration with global engineering teams, suppliers, skid fabricators, and customers to ensure high-quality project execution and successful customer approvals.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Review project specifications, project proposals, technical queries, and deviations during pre-bid and project execution phases.
  • Assist Project Managers in technical and planning functions and assume project management responsibilities when required.
  • Lead all Electrical and Instrumentation engineering activities and technical aspects of assigned projects.
  • Liaise directly with customers and Local Business Partners (LBPs) on project-related technical matters.
  • Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across COE Pune and global engineering locations.
  • Work with design teams to generate and review critical project drawings, including P&IDs and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
  • Review and validate Functional Design Specifications (FDS).
  • Generate and review E&I datasheets, specifications, sizing calculations, and project documentation in accordance with project requirements.
  • Perform instrumentation selection and flow meter sizing activities.
  • Review loop wiring drawings, hook-up drawings, control panel drawings, and junction box sizing requirements.
  • Prepare and review E&I engineering drawings and associated deliverables.
  • Develop project documentation including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures, and Installation, Operation & Maintenance (IOM) manuals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to E&I designers.
  • Supervise E&I installation and assembly activities at skid fabrication facilities.
  • Conduct internal and customer Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure effective project integration and execution.
  • Identify and communicate project scope changes through established change management processes.
  • Support commissioning engineers during pre-commissioning activities.
  • Comply with the company Trade Compliance requirements and business procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the design and engineering of Metering Skids and Analytical Packages.
  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas industry equipment, instrumentation, piping systems, and structural design.
  • Strong understanding of flow measurement technologies for gas and liquid applications.
  • Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API, API MPMS, ISO, and other relevant industry standards related to Oil & Gas measurement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Experience using engineering software and Adobe Acrobat/PDF tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
