Steer Studios (formerly known as Savvy Games Studios) is dedicated to establishing a world-class game studio in Saudi Arabia, committed to creating high-quality games for international audiences. We aim to strengthen the local gaming sector by developing homegrown intellectual property and positioning Saudi Arabia as a global hub for gaming.

We are currently seeking an Economy Designer who possesses a strong passion for various game genres and storytelling. In this role, you will work closely with the game development team to design and implement game mechanics, as well as create game prototypes. Your work will be essential in ensuring that the game design is executed to produce a high-quality product.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and balance the game economy for our games.
• Create simulations and models to test, balance, and optimize game economies, taking into account target audiences and various player profiles, while also updating them in line with emerging best practices.
• Develop detailed balance sheets, charts, and reports to analyze and enhance the game's economy.
• Assess player data against simulations to identify areas for improvement.
• Understand and utilize game KPIs to optimize game balance.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the smooth integration of economy systems and features.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market research, and the competitive landscape to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in economy design, particularly in mobile gaming, with at least one game successfully released to the market.
• Strong understanding of the free-to-play (F2P) market.
• Proficiency in creating, balancing, and optimizing complex economy simulations.
• Advanced skills in Excel, along with a solid background in math/statistics.
• Insight into player psychology and behavior.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• A genuine passion for video games.
