The unit's main objective is to conduct thorough enhanced due diligence (EDD), perform periodic and trigger-based reviews, and engage in compliance monitoring to effectively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. This requires ensuring that cases are properly assigned, tracked, investigated, and concluded according to established requirements while maintaining accurate management information and appropriate records. The team collaborates closely with business and internal stakeholders to address compliance concerns, escalate significant issues, and support informed risk-based decisions. Additionally, the unit plays a vital role in strengthening compliance controls to ensure adherence to Group policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
