Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Elastic Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Elastic Cloud, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and data pipelines. Expertise in working with BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL queries is highly desirable. Experience with GoLang development is a plus as it will enhance our data and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities

Elastic Cloud Administration:
- Deploy, configure, and manage Elastic Cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Elasticsearch clusters for performance, security, and scalability.
- Manage index lifecycle and ensure high data availability.

Kibana Dashboards & Reporting:
- Design and maintain Kibana dashboards for real-time data visualization.
- Develop complex queries and visualizations using Elasticsearch and Kibana.
- Automate report generation based on Elasticsearch data.

Data Pipeline Management:
- Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines for ingesting and transforming data into Elasticsearch.
- Integrate data from sources such as BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL-based databases.
- Ensure data consistency and quality across systems.

BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL Integration:
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for integrating structured data into Elasticsearch.
- Work with unstructured data in MongoDB.

GoLang Development (Plus):
- Assist in developing backend applications using GoLang.
- Build services that interface with Elasticsearch and other data platforms.

Data Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for Elasticsearch.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Collaboration & Documentation:
- Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and DevOps teams.
- Document processes and configurations for managing the Elastic Cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Elastic Cloud, Elasticsearch administration, and Kibana.
- Strong expertise in building Kibana dashboards and generating reports.
- Proficiency in building and managing data pipelines, especially with BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL databases.
- Strong SQL query writing skills.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure for Elastic Cloud.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch security features and data protection best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Logstash or Beats.
- Experience with cloud platforms for hosting and scaling Elasticsearch clusters.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and large datasets in BigQuery.
- Experience with API development using GoLang or similar technologies.
