About the Role
We are seeking a professional with a strong understanding of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and KSA Authority Guidelines, standards, and requirements. The role demands full knowledge of dry utilities and infrastructure project requirements from the concept masterplan stage to the IFC stage. A solid background in infrastructure engineering with prior experience in infrastructure projects is essential. This role includes understanding the requirements for:
- Primary substations
- EHV, HV & LV corridors
- Distribution substations
- Pocket substations
- Feeder pillars and service turrets
- HV up to 33kV
- LV networks, calculations, and report writing skills.
Additionally, experience in telecommunication infrastructure network design, street lighting design, and coordination with other disciplines such as wet utilities, roads, transportation, landscape, and building teams is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand project requirements and standards for infrastructure projects
- Develop comprehensive designs for electricity distribution systems including substations and networks
- Design telecommunication infrastructure, including ducts and GSM tower coverage requirements
- Create street lighting designs for various road types, along with necessary calculations, schedules, and drawings
- Collaborate effectively with other project disciplines
