Electrical Draftsman

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman to produce precise electrical drawings and technical documentation for building and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. This position is crucial for ensuring that all electrical designs are implemented accurately and comply with all relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create layouts for lighting, power distribution boards (DBs), cable trays, containment, earthing, and electrical systems.
• Develop electrical drawings based on project specifications, consultant requirements, and site conditions.
• Coordinate electrical drawings with other disciplines including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Review designs and incorporate revisions based on consultant/client feedback.
• Prepare material layouts, single-line diagrams, schematic drawings, and other necessary details.
• Collaborate with site engineers and project teams to address and resolve drawing-related issues.
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to applicable UAE codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings that reflect actual site installations.
• Maintain accurate drawing records and manage revision control.
