Electrical Engineer

About the Job

1. Develop working knowledge of power systems, protection, and all related products.
2. Help customers apply products through visits, demonstrations, training courses, and telephone contact.
3. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to develop solutions to problems of limited scope with significant technical and planning direction.
4. Participate in Engineering Development Program, where applicable.
5. Contribute, collaborate, or co-author application guides, notes, template guides, software tools, and/or technical conference papers.
6. Suggest process improvements and participate in WCM initiatives.
7. Follow and apply Values, Principles of Operations, and World-Class Manufacturing principles.
8. Understand. Create. Simplify.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering degree
• Ability to write and speak English coherently
• Listens carefully; provides positive, helpful, and professional communication to internal and external customers
• Competent technical training, speaking, and writing skills
• Models high standards of honesty and integrity
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to travel
• Background check results satisfactory to the company
• Negative drug test result(s)
