Key Accountability Areas
- Responsibility:
- Review project electrical documents, including methodology, quality assurance/control procedures, engineering, and construction time schedules.
- Prepare and review technical submittals such as designs, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, Third-Party Inspections (TPIs), and risk assessments for compliance with client, authority, end-user requirements, and local/international standards.
- Oversee and inspect site installation work daily, witness tests, identify non-compliance with construction documentation, and recommend corrective measures.
- Coordinate daily with the Team Leader and other team members to document and report quality issues of work performed by subcontractors and provide/suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure all construction activities run smoothly at the site and regularly review progress.
- Conduct technical meetings and maintain constant follow-up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions.
- Quality:
- Maintain quality standards for all electrical activities as per the project quality plan.
Role Accountability
- Train subordinates and form a team to execute work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate tasks to subordinates in each respective assignment, ensuring fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation.
- Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within budgeted cost and time.
- Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
- Resolve any related problems and escalate complex operational issues as necessary.
- Ensure the development of effective quality control processes and product specifications in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee legislative compliance and deliver high-quality products/services.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
