Skills / Role Responsibilities
- Repair of low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical rotating machinery
- Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment
- Conduct static and dynamic tests on electrical equipment
- Rewind electric motors and generators (desirable)
- Perform balancing on motors (desirable)
- Conduct work in explosive atmospheres (EX) (desirable)
- Order goods as required
- Follow directions from the Supervisor to ensure effective daily operations
- Attend onsite to repair electrical rotating equipment
- Maintain housekeeping as required
- Potential for national and international travel on short notice
Education requirements
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology or above / equivalent
- State-issued Electrical License/permit
