Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of instrument maintenance technicians within the designated area.
- Serve as the focal point for the daily instrument maintenance execution plan.
- Ensure technicians comply with and apply the company’s safety and quality procedures during maintenance activities.
- Conduct frequent site visits to monitor the execution of work and support technicians engaged in routine maintenance.
- Receive directions from the Instrument foreman regarding maintenance orders and ensure effective implementation.
- Track the progress of instrument maintenance work and submit regular reports to the Instrument foreman with recommendations.
- Maintain records of daily maintenance activities against planned programs and prepare work completion reports when applicable.
- Collaborate with the Instrument foreman to recommend and implement improvements that enhance the reliability and availability of instrument systems.
- Assist with engineering modifications and enhancements to instrument equipment.
- Enforce the company’s policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safety measures are strictly followed during maintenance tasks.
- Demonstrate strong safety aptitude and behavior.
- Maintain proficiency in repairing and maintaining instrument systems, mechanical, and electro-hydraulic systems.
- Uphold knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance principles and regulations related to health, safety, and environmental preservation.
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ensure personnel have the necessary skills, training, resources, and tools for safe and effective routine maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance (High School qualification) or 4 years of experience with a diploma.
- Valid certification from a recognized third-party certification body or accredited Saudi institute attesting to qualifications and competency for maintenance work.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management for Oil & Gas facilities.
- Well-organized and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership experience in large organizations.
- Mature judgment under pressure and problem-solving abilities.
- Strategic management capabilities.
- Ability to achieve business results in a multi-cultural environment.
- Flexibility to travel internationally and reside in KSA.
