Key Accountabilities
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Read and understand electronics drawings and circuits.
- Receive various defective electronic equipment for repair.
- Analyze faults and order required materials for repair in consultation with the Mechanic.
- Perform overhauling of electronic equipment as needed.
- Conduct function tests of repaired equipment.
- Visit sites and locations for work as advised by the immediate supervisor.
- Cooperate with other sections during equipment trials.
- Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and time consumed on every job, and communicate this to the immediate supervisor.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair activities as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
- Comply with all UAE, the company, and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.

- Implement and comply with all relevant functional policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to accomplish operational objectives.
Training
- Provide on-the-job training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.
Tool Box
- Maintain all tools, safety gear, and equipment provided by the company safely and in working condition.
- Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.
Time Management
- Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
- Inform the Maintenance Supervisor if additional resources are required to complete the job within the assigned time frame.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in operating procedures, functional processes, machinery, or equipment.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Support the establishment of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls, and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division, aligned with international standards and best practices.
Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment before, during, and after executing jobs, in line with established Hygiene and Housekeeping standards.
Reports
- Collect technical data from the field and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.
- Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.
Communications & Working Relationships
Internal
- Daily contact with immediate supervisor and colleagues for daily work activities.
- Daily contact with personnel in the stores area when drawing items from the store.
External
- None.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma in a technical field.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fully conversant with company standards and operational procedures.
- Basic knowledge of spoken and written English.
