Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and install work according to departmental procedures.
- Maintenance of control panels.
- Troubleshoot control circuits.
- Install wiring, conducting/trunking, and wiring accessories.
- Maintain chillers, freezers, split units, AHUs, fan coils, and cold rooms.
- Complete requests in a timely, accurate, efficient, and knowledgeable manner.
- Exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS) and repair of kitchen equipment is considered an added qualification.
Qualifications
- High level of knowledge and skill in Electrical.
- Minimum of a 2-year schooling certificate in the Electrical Trade.
- At least two years of experience in a similar position with a trade certificate in Electricals.
- Ability to repair and maintain electrical and air handling units, PLCs, and BMS.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and use of test equipment.
- Proficiency in the above areas with a solid foundation in other electrical domains.
Physical Aspects of Position
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shifts.
- Lifting and carrying.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and sitting.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
