Electro Mechanical Technician

About the Role
The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining assets in accordance with standard technical practices and manufacturers’ requirements to ensure equipment reliability. This position requires adherence to local, regional, segment, and Group (particularly HSEQ) requirements, objectives, and guidelines for performing maintenance work. The role is based in Jeddah and reports to the Assistant Manager – Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance tasks according to standards and procedures, ensuring quality and effectiveness while utilizing input for data updates in the Matrix Maintenance System. Focus areas include Preventive Maintenance actions, Standard Jobs, and spare part lists & inventory control.
• Actively participate in root cause analysis of recurring and critical breakdowns and failures, troubleshoot faults independently, and provide necessary support for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of production lines and industrial equipment.
• Have a solid understanding of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Industrial Electrical, and Mechanical systems, including troubleshooting for Pumps, Gearboxes, blowers, fans, seals, Motors, VFDs, compressors, HVAC, and bearings.
• Support multiple shifts with emergency maintenance and electrical and mechanical repairs as needed, and assist in the commissioning process for new assets, adhering to HSEQ and engineering standards along with work permit procedures.
• Provide support in various PLC Programming languages, control networks, industrial control systems, and the ability to read and comprehend basic mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams and drawings.
• Help update all necessary maintenance records through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

What We Are Looking For
Qualification:

• Vocational Technical course or Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical)
• 4-6 years of experience in Electro-mechanical and Industrial facility maintenance
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
