Key Responsibilities

  • Draft system and subsystem requirement specifications derived from User Requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and approve design specifications.
  • Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Author system, subsystem, and unit-level acceptance and qualification test procedures.
  • Ensure engineering documentation complies with internal processes, quality requirements, and applicable standards.
  • Design power electronics and other analogue electronic circuits to meet defined performance, reliability, and environmental objectives.
  • Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and harness designs using ECAD tools.
  • Conduct laboratory testing on components, assemblies, and final products.
  • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior and intermediate engineers.
  • Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering (BEng).
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in electrical and electronic design.
  • Proven experience in schematic creation, PCB design, and harness design.
  • Demonstrated experience in the defense industry or other safety-critical environments.

Key Skills

  • Experience with electrical harness design and integration.
  • Proficiency in laboratory testing, instrumentation, and debugging.
  • Ability to translate design concepts into cost-effective, manufacturable solutions.
