Position

This role is responsible for systems engineering activities across the lifecycle of radar and electronic warfare (REW) systems. The role combines hands-on field work at test ranges with data-driven analysis to inform the design, development/upgrade, integration, testing, operation, and support of REW systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Signal Processing, Electronic Warfare Engineering, or a closely related technical field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • More than 5 years of professional experience in Radar and Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering, covering requirements, design, development, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing EDA, descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis on EW and RF datasets.
  • Field deployment experience and the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities, as well as collect, preprocess, and validate field data (real-time analysis under operational constraints).
  • Experience in Radar and Electronic Warfare algorithm implementation and evaluation: detection, classification, geolocation, beamforming, pulse/PRI analysis, and interference mitigation.
  • Strong signal processing fundamentals (Fourier/time frequency analysis, detection/estimation, classification, direction finding, Doppler processing) and EW techniques (ES/EA/EP).
  • Strong programming skills and experience developing analysis tools and automation in Python, MATLAB, Julia, or C/C++; experience with machine learning libraries, signal processing toolkits, and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce technical reports, present findings, and deliver briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into concise recommendations.
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering, airborne, naval, or tactical ground EW deployments, and EW toolchains/simulation environments and threat emulators.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot EW test equipment and lab instruments, and experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and RF propagation modeling.
