About the Role
This role involves providing expert training and support within the Electronic Warfare (EW) sphere, specifically focusing on the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). You will work alongside the RSAF EW Directorate to ensure effective management and delivery of Ground EW Training courses, including the ongoing EW Officer course and other training packages as per the Semi-Annual Plan (SAP). You will leverage simulations and technology to enhance the training experience and provide critical briefings and advice to RSAF personnel.

Responsibilities
- Liaise with the RSAF EW Directorate to assess, prioritize, escalate, and manage the delivery of Ground EW Training courses according to the Semi-Annual Plan (SAP).
- Deliver Ground EW Training that includes the EW Officer course, EW Initial lecture package, EW Refresher, and Current Operations lectures.
- Utilize simulations such as Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE) and Augmented Reality Mission Observation & Rehearsal (ARMOR) to supplement training delivery.
- Provide ad hoc briefings on EW to designated individuals within RSAF and the Electronic Warfare Directorate (EWD).
- Maintain a current knowledge of developments in the field, including being prepared to provide out-of-base courses at the request of RSAF.
- Offer professional advice on best practices in training methodologies, technologies, and tools.
- Identify and work towards achieving practical objectives that satisfy the overall needs of the section and wider business operations.
- Maintain two-way communication, share information, and consider others’ views and expectations.
- Collaborate and support others to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Employ a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving, delivering practical solutions and adapting to the role's comprehensive duties.
- Undertake all mandatory and developmental training as deemed appropriate.
- Actively participate in the development and issuance of formal reports.
Job Requirements
Essential
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in EW with comprehensive knowledge of EW and related technologies.
- Highly experienced in one or more of the following roles:
- Signals Intelligence and database operation.
- Procurement - operational requirements, trials, and training.
- Engineering - radar, electro-optics, and EW.
- Fighter controlling (GCI/AWACS).
- Application of active jamming.
- Suppression of enemy air defences.
- EW ground/air training.
- Experience in training systems structure with qualification in instructional techniques from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years of classroom, synthetic, or airborne/flying instruction experience.
- Minimum English Language proficiency of IELTS score 5.5 or equivalent.
Desirable
- At least 5 years of RSAF operational experience as aircrew on multi-engine, fast jet, or rotary wing platforms with EW capabilities.
- Proficient knowledge and experience of EW in the airborne environment.
- Established quality working relationships with RSAF.
- IT literate with strong communication skills at all levels.
- Familiar with RSAF practices and procedures.
- Good understanding of training methodologies, analysis, design, and instruction.
- Self-starter capable of operating independently.
