Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission Access Control Systems (Honeywell, Hikvision, ZKteco, etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing of Access Control systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system faults.
- Integrate Access Control Systems with gate barriers, ANPR, Fire and Safety systems, etc.
- Install, repair, and maintain CCTV cameras.
- Keep maintenance and repair records for security equipment.
- Identify areas that require ACS Systems and CCTV monitoring.
- Monitor premises of a large commercial office complex with a CCTV network.
- Perform structural cabling, copper patching, IDF and MDF preparation.
- Execute cable runs for CAT 5, CAT 5e, CAT 6, and Fiber optic cables with precision.
- Utilize network testing equipment, including Fluke testers, to verify installation integrity.
- Have experience with various CCTV brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Hanwha, etc.
- Demonstrate familiarity with all types and brands of access control systems.
- Use testing tools (multi-meter, cable tester, OTDR – an advantage).
Technical Skills & Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in access control systems and CCTV.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, software applications, and rectification.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Networking knowledge is an advantage.
- Familiarity with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, Honeywell, ZKteco, etc.
- Valid driving license required – must.
