In this role, you will work with accomplished Linux systems, demonstrating proficiency in distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and bringing customer ideas to fruition. You'll engage with customers during presales to gather requirements, propose solutions, and participate in the delivery of embedded Linux projects.
Location: Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote with up to 30% travel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Extensive experience with Linux, preferably Debian or Ubuntu
- Distribution and packaging experience (deb, rpm, etc.)
- Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot)
- Fluency in at least one of the following: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in a local language is required for candidates in Japan and Korea
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Result-oriented with the ability to multitask and a personal drive to meet commitments
- A humble learner and quick study
