As a candidate, you should be an accomplished Linux professional with skills in distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and translating customers' ideas into action. Our tailored version of Ubuntu for IoT, known as Ubuntu Core, emphasizes security and resilience, catering to high-end appliances and equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in Linux (preferably Debian or Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in distribution/packaging (deb, rpm) and solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot).
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Professional written and spoken English.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers during presales to gather requirements and explain technologies.
- Propose solutions to prospective clients.
- Participate in select Embedded Linux project deliveries.
- Convey market requirements to key stakeholders and assist in developing or refining solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments.
- A humble learner eager to develop skills.
Additional Skills (not required but beneficial):
- Experience with customer engagements.
Language Requirements:
- Professional written and spoken English required.
- For positions in Japan and Korea, fluency in the local language is necessary.
