Embedded Linux Software Engineer

About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux Software Engineer with expertise in multiple programming and scripting languages, Linux systems, driver development, and DevOps practices. Your responsibilities will extend to leading board bring-up and platform integration tasks. This involves not only customizing device trees and kernel configurations but also seamlessly integrating downstream packages and modules for optimal system performance.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Linux, with a focus on kernel and drivers, including compilation and debugging.
• Experience with Nix OS is a plus.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience with embedded Linux build systems (such as Yocto, Buildroot, or Nix).
• Experience with one or more of the following languages: Go, C, C++, Python, or Bash.
• Experience in driver development and system-level build tools like Make or CMake.
• Understanding of networking and security protocols.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Familiarity with advanced MLOps practices, with knowledge of tools like MLFlow, model quantization, and PyTorch being a plus.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of research and/or industry experience.
