Embedded Software - Layer 2 - IGNITE Trainee

This entry-level position is focused on developing and testing Layer 2 networking features within embedded systems. As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience learning protocol implementation and troubleshooting in a dynamic and innovative environment.

You will be working on various aspects of embedded software to contribute to secure communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing C/Python/C++ code to implement simple Layer 2 protocols and networking features.
• Participate in debugging and resolving communication issues; learn to use network analysis tools.
• Create and execute basic test cases and automation scripts to validate protocols.
• Document design changes and report progress to mentors.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure protocol compatibility.

Education and Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Networking.
• Coursework in data networks and operating systems.
• Experience with Linux and network programming is advantageous.
