International Systems Engineering (ISE) provides IT capability and services both onsite and centrally to all projects and programmes in BAE Systems Saudi Arabia and its partner companies. ISE is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability.
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Technical Support Team Lead, this position is responsible for performing general technical support functions such as physical installation, assembly, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure successful resolution of reported issues and deliver EUC service.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the enterprise end-user computing environment (configuration, monitoring, service interruption recovery).
- Offer level 1 and 2 maintenance and support for desktop, laptop, printer, phones, dongles, tablets, projectors, smart boards, video conference suites, IP phones, and other end user peripherals.
- Respond to telephone calls/emails, escalated service requests, and tickets to diagnose problems by engaging with users.
- Troubleshoot client hardware and software and basic network connectivity problems.
- Escalate problems to appropriate support specialists and follow up until resolution.
- Contribute to the development of operational procedures, user manuals, and knowledge base.
- Document and manage problems and work requests using the internal incident management system.
- Undertake desktop/laptop builds, rebuilds, and office moves as required.
- Maintain asset inventory operations as per ISE’s policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar setup is required.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred.
- Relevant IT certificates such as MCSE Desktop Support or equivalent.
- Knowledge of IT Service Framework.
