Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Technical Support Team Lead, the End User Computing Support Engineer will perform general technical support functions such as physical installation, assembly, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure successful resolution of reported issues and delivery of EUC services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the enterprise end-user computing environment, including configuration and monitoring.
- Conduct level 1 and 2 maintenance and support for various end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and video conference suites.
- Respond to service requests via calls and emails, diagnosing problems through user discussions that involve problem recognition, logging, research, isolation, and resolution.
- Understand and participate in evaluating, prioritizing, and resolving customer issues through ISE’s Customer Support systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network problems, escalating as necessary.
- Contribute to the development of operational procedures, user manuals, and knowledge bases.
- Document and manage problems and work requests using the internal incident management system.
- Carry out desktop/laptop builds and rebuilds, as well as office moves when required.
- Maintain asset inventory operations according to ISE’s policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is essential.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in IT is preferred.
- Relevant IT certifications such as MCSE Desktop Support or equivalent.
- Knowledge of IT Service Framework is advantageous.
