Endpoint Security Engineer

The Endpoint Security Engineer is responsible for managing and maintaining security devices, tools, and products implemented at the company for day-to-day tasks. This role includes regular monitoring of security logs and events for IT security devices to review security events and alerts and proactively detect actual or potential attacks on the company's network.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain security devices and products to ensure robust protection against cyber threats.
• Follow security hardening baselines and guidelines, generating reports as needed.
• Respond to attack attempts and contain incidents, providing incident response support as required.
• Ensure compliance with published policies and procedures, including PMO, ITIL processes, ISO 9001 & 27001.
• Maintain company user PCs against malware attacks, data loss, and identity theft through proactive monitoring.
• Provide Level 2 support for any security incident reported by the command center or escalate as per established procedures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with a deep understanding of its services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting capabilities to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
